To feed the hungry, care for the sick and stand by people in need – every caste, creed and faith alike – through simple, honest seva that reaches them directly.
Our motto
सेवा ही उद्देश्य – service is our purpose. Guided by the principle of the greatest good for the greatest number, and by the belief that boond boond se sagar banta hai.
What we do today
- Ghar Ki Rasoi food van, Delhi – home-style meals every day outside Delhi’s government hospitals; Rs 5 a plate, waived for anyone who does not wish to pay
- Ghar Ki Rasoi kitchen, Farrukhabad – Rs 5 meals every day for workers and poor families
- Sadh Charitable Clinic, Farrukhabad – a doctor’s OPD since September 2026, and the seed of a charitable hospital
- Free eye camps and cataract surgery – 424 patients examined at the April 2023 camp and 392 at the clinic’s opening camp in July 2026, 27 operations in its first week
- Medical aid fund – pays hospitals directly for poor patients referred by our members and partner hospitals
Our journey
- 2010 Four devotees of the Sadh Satnami community from Farrukhabad register the trust in Delhi on 29 April 2010.
- 2011 Registered under section 12A and approved under section 80G of the Income Tax Act (23 August 2011).
- 2021–22 Re-registered under the new Income Tax regime: section 12A on 31 August 2021 and section 80G on 1 December 2022, both from AY 2022-23.
- 2010s Charitable clinics in Lajpat Nagar and West Azad Nagar (2012–14), Delhi, with free consultations and medicines; blood donation and health camps with the Red Cross and city hospitals; Uttarakhand and Yamuna flood relief; books and uniforms for village schools and yearly funding of five Ekal Vidyalaya schools; winter blanket camps.
- 2019 The Ghar Ki Rasoi food van starts on 24 September 2019, serving meals at Rs 5 a plate.
- 2020–21 During Covid-19 the meals become free, the van runs twice a day, and SSCT feeds about 2,200 people a day in Delhi and Farrukhabad.
- 2026 The Sadh Charitable Clinic opens in Farrukhabad on 19 July with a free eye camp; regular OPD from 1 September.

Who runs the trust
SSCT is governed by volunteers: the four settlers (founders), the trustees, a working committee that manages day-to-day work, and honorary members – the women of the community, who are among the trust’s most generous supporters. Trustees and settlers pay an annual contribution, sponsor days of meals themselves, and meet every year to plan the next year’s work.
Sadh Samaj Charitable Trust (“SSCT”), Serving Since 2010
Has been making a difference by serving the underserved since its registration on 29 April 2010. It was founded by four devotees of the ‘Sadh Satnami’ religious community, namely Mr. Narendra Shah, Prakash Mani, Chamkesh Sadh and Sukesh Sadh, also known as the Settlors of the trust. The religious ideology of the ‘Sadh Satnamis’lies in the Universal truth of God, one who is above and beyond the human scope. However, the SSCT philosophy springs out of the utilitarian principle, which entails greater good for a greater number of people. They also follow the secular model of serving one and all in need, irrespective of their race, cast or creed whilst following the path of righteousness, divinity, simplicity and solidarity.
The initiative sprung out in their hometown, Farukhabad, Uttar Pradesh where the Settlors witnessed an immense need to uplift and empower the underprivileged in multiple facets. The Settlors then launched an intensive monthly meet initiative followed by a registration deed dated April 29, 2010 and thereby scaling the base to the capital. SSCT envisioned holistic solutions towards the betterment of the country. They converted their plans into action by organizing blood donation camps in smaller towns and villages; providing free medical assistance and treatment as well as reimbursement of medical bills; the‘kanyadan’ initiative offering monetary assistance for the marriage of a daughter;providing relief in the flood affected areas in Kashmir and the River Yamuna Banks;funding for schools and distribution of books, uniform and shoes;organizing blanket donation camps during winters;and their widely popular ‘ghar ki rasoi’ and the food van initiative which caters‘ghar jaisa bhojan’ offering home-style cooked, nutritious meals for free especially during theCovid-19 pandemic. Through their drive and initiatives, they strive to achieve greater targets towards human development.
