A child who has to miss school for want of books, a uniform or shoes may never go back. Since 2012, Sadh Samaj Charitable Trust has helped village schools stay open and given poor children the things they need to keep studying.
What we do
- Five village schools funded every year: since March 2012 the trust has funded five one-teacher village schools run by Ekal Vidyalaya, which bring free basic education to children in remote villages.
- Books and stationery: free school books and stationery for the students of Satnami Shikshan Sansthan, Litriya, Rajasthan (20 August 2012).
- Uniforms and shoes: uniforms, shoes and books for children from poor families, given out at the trust’s camps.
