These terms apply to your use of sadhsamajtrust.org and to every donation made through it to Sadh Samaj Charitable Trust (“SSCT”), a public charitable trust registered in Delhi (deed Reg. No. 2721, Sub-Registrar V, 29 April 2010).
Donations
- All donations are voluntary. They are used for the trust’s charitable objects: free and subsidised meals (Ghar Ki Rasoi food van), the Sadh Charitable Clinic, eye and health camps, and relief work.
- Where you choose a purpose (for example, sponsoring a day of meals or a cataract operation), we apply your gift to it. If that need is already met, we use the gift for the trust’s closest similar work.
- Online donations are accepted only from Indian donors, in Indian rupees, through Indian cards, UPI and net banking. We cannot accept foreign contributions.
- Donations are not payment for any goods or services. We give nothing in return except a receipt.
Receipts and tax
We email a receipt for every donation for which you give a valid email address. A receipt shows a tax exemption under section 80G only when the trust’s approval in force at the time allows it. Please ask us before you rely on a tax deduction.
Accuracy
Please check the amount and your details before you confirm a payment. For mistakes, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
