Sadh Samaj Charitable Trust is governed by volunteers – its settlers, trustees and members – who also fund most of its work themselves. Your gift goes straight to the work. What your money has done
2,000 people a day in the lockdown
When Covid shut Delhi in March 2020, members raised about Rs 17 lakh in days. The van got a curfew pass and served free meals twice a day to 1,400–2,000 people, while Farrukhabad made 500–600 packets a day. Covid and flood relief →
2 lakh meals in 18 months
Ghar Ki Rasoi in Farrukhabad opened in October 2018. By April 2020 it had served about 2 lakh meals at Rs 5 a plate – each costing the trust about Rs 12–15 to cook. About the kitchen →
25 days with no sponsor
From 11 July to 17 October 2026 the food van served on 70 logged days. On 25 of them nobody had sponsored the meals, so the trust paid from its own funds. Sponsor a day →
Members paid for 170 operations
At the April 2023 eye camp in Farrukhabad, 424 patients were examined and 170 chosen for cataract surgery. Members pledged Rs 10,000 an operation – some 10 or 20 each. In August 2026 a donor in Mumbai paid for eight more. About the eye camps →
A hospital bill paid within hours
When a poor family asked for help with a hospital bill in July 2026, the trust sent Rs 75,000 straight to the hospital the same day, and promised more at discharge. About medical aid →
The clinic’s running costs
In October 2026 the trust’s women members gave more than Rs 6 lakh towards running the Sadh Charitable Clinic, and trustees pledged about Rs 25 lakh. A doctor has held OPD there since 1 September. About the clinic →

Good to know
- Receipts: we send a receipt for every donation. Email donate@sadhsamajtrust.org (or call or WhatsApp us) with your name, PAN, amount, date and UPI/UTR reference.
- Income tax (80G): the trust is approved under section 80G(5) of the Income Tax Act (new regime, approved 1 December 2022, valid from AY 2022-23) and is listed in the Income Tax Department’s public registry of non-profits. Renewal for gifts made from April 2026 is being confirmed – ask us before you rely on it. If you want to claim a deduction, give us your PAN with your gift.
- Indian donors only: the trust can accept donations only from Indian citizens and Indian bank accounts, in rupees.
