Sadh Samaj Charitable Trust (“SSCT”, “we”), D-1095, Block D, New Friends Colony, New Delhi – 110025, runs sadhsamajtrust.org. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site, contact us or donate, and how we use it.
What we collect
- When you donate: your name, email address, mobile number, postal address and, if you ask for a tax receipt, your PAN – together with the amount, date and transaction reference.
- When you contact us: whatever you choose to send by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and to keep the site working.
Payments
Online donations are processed by our payment partner (a RBI-authorised payment aggregator) or directly through your bank’s UPI app. Card numbers, UPI PINs and net-banking passwords are entered only on the payment partner’s or bank’s secure pages. We never see or store them.
How we use your information
- to confirm your donation, issue a receipt and thank you;
- to meet legal duties, such as reporting donations to the Income Tax Department where the law requires it;
- to answer your questions and, if you agree, to send occasional updates on our work. You can opt out at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with our payment partner and bank to process your donation, with our auditors, and with government authorities when the law requires it.
Retention and security
Donation records are kept for as long as Indian tax and trust law requires (normally at least eight years). We protect them with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you (except records we must keep by law) by writing to donate@sadhsamajtrust.org.
